| Organization Description |
The Adoption Program provides adoptive home studies and other adoption services for families who wish to adopt children in the care of DSHS or other state's agency through the Interstate Compact on Dependent Children. The Program also provides adoption services for children who are in the care of the Department. Post-adoption services are provided to adoptive families through the Adoption Support Program and for those in crisis through Family Reconciliation Services. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Adult (regardless of age, marital/financial status, religion, or sexual orientation). All applicants are required to participate in training offered. Services are provided without charge. |
